Poster

The feeback that I received was vital in helping me improve my final product. My teachers and peers helped me with giving me somefeedback to improve. I recieved some feedback from my teacher Mr Ford on how to improve my poster. I was told that the image on the front of my poster was blurred and so I neede to change this, whic I did. At first I ahd a picture of my Digipak on front of the poster so therefore I decided to change this to the diamond pattern that I had used throughout my two media products this gives the band an identity which is easily recognisable.

My draft poster didnt include a label badge so my teeacher recomended that I should include this to help me achieve a higher grade, so I placed this at the bottom, centre of the page na dused a red coloure to ensure it stood out. I was also advised to replace 'Out Now' with 'LP/CD/Download' this enabled me to show the audience what platforms the album was available on. Therefore it helped my poster reach out to my target audience in a more personal way.

I received feedback to replace the record label website and replace it with a twitter logo due to the fact I already had a label badge on the poster. I choose to use Twitter as this is a way for the audience to interect with the band thereofore impacting on the popularity.

I like the simple colour scheme of black and white, I think that the white text on the black background stands out well and makes it easy to read, it also sticks to the colour scheme of the logo as well. I like the simplistic look of the whole poster I think the simple image on the cover works well and it also links the poster to the digipak which is good as well. I like how you have put the Warner Bros. logo in red, although it doesn't match the rest of the poster I think that it adds a bit of colour to it and makes it look good. I like how the name of the band is big and is spread across the whole page this shows to the audience who's album it is, which is good. Although one thing that I would alter is ti make all of the text the same on the poster as it looks a bit odd and it is harder to read.
